The Pope's Toilet is a film that has been promoted around here. Are several posters, interviews, reviews, etc, from several sides. From the beginning, since I knew it was the idea, I wanted to go see it. Original considering it, and in turn that idea because it exploited, could lead to a very good movie. And I met the expectations disappointed.
It's a very simple, very humble people Melo. Most are smugglers, and are dedicated to bring to Brazil Bagay then sold to traders Melo, and stick with something for them. Nothing unusual. Until a shocking fact the whole city will reach the pope. Everyone gets like crazy, the grand style Durazno with the Pilsen Rock, to try to do business and sell something. Everyone has everything: jobs sausages, fried cakes, pastries, and edible variety. But the main character is brilliant and original idea to build a bathroom for rent to people who want to eliminate.
really surprising that most actors are not professionals. They work so well that not even notice, as happens in the movies

More than anything else is a drama, very well done, which is based on family history of the main character and the problems they have (they have a home made ball, the daughter wants to be a journalist and do not have the money to send her to study in Montevideo, the aspirations of the child and have it come down to reality, etc). All these problems make the fact that the pope comes motivated to get rid of them with all the loot they intended to do.
has really very funny parts, mainly based on short and quick jokes, such as when the protagonist tells his neighbor, who is black, when he says he will do a lot of money: "Where you saw a rich black?" to which he responds "I'm going to be a poor black but with silver." But the best is undoubtedly the joke in which the other day of a fart that had gripped the protagonist, and
l bar owner was angry with him. Friends come and say "hey, you were a bad time, the owner is re mad", to which he responds "And you want? If you do not like to put a pharmacy empedan! ".
In summary, a simple story, very enjoyable, easy to follow, bonded human relationships humble people, and are happy despite everything. Luciano Supervielle I think it was the right person to do it, simply for more good music that is not going according to the film. I think that during the film is not bad, but the final song should have been more dramatic.
